Pali’s boys basketball team improved to 2-0 in Western League play with a 62-50 victory over Venice.

Senior forward Dayne Downey led all scorers with 18 on a positive night for the Dolphins.

Senior shooting guard Zack Lynch also was able to get it going offensively as he put up 14, and sophomore point guard Nick Kerkorian also chipped in with 11 points of his own.

Pali will now go into their game against LACES on Jan. 18 full of confidence.
