Judy Zhang has been working in Tideline for four years now. Ever since she began as a staff writer her freshman year, she fell in love with writing stories beyond the structured, repetitive English essays in class. Tideline has allowed her to participate in the act of producing content for her school and helping writers step beyond their comfort zone and pursue unconventional stories. As Editor in Chief, she facilitates in-class copy editing sessions, oversees all writers and editors in the journalism class, and focuses primarily on designing and producing biannual magazines and newspapers. She is currently a senior at Pali, and her interests outside of journalism include debating about politics and law in programs such as JSA, Moot Court, Mock Trial, etc. as well as reading and listening to 80s music.
